Last Thursday as I was getting ready for work I heard faint chirping sounds coming from the garage. Thinking a bird may have flown in, I went to check things out. I found our cat had given birth. I guess our suspicions about her being pregnant were correct. It was touch and go with the kittens all afternoon when I got home from work. We thought only one had survived. By the next day we had six healthy, nursing kittens. We've unfortunately had a bad turn of events with the kittens and we have lost four of them. To say it's been an emotional roller coaster the last four days is an understatement. Not to mention the vet bill we now have.
I'm not really sure how to transition away from something sad into talking about products, but between watching Banjo take care of her kittens, having my mom in town this week and ordering products for Mother's Day, I've had all things mothering on my mind.
I've pulled together a few items I think moms might appreciate in a shopping category. Linked here. There are a lot of new products headed my way that I can't wait to share with you. I'll give you a hint, it involves chocolate. One perk of being an email subscriber is that you get more details about what's to come and you read it three days before anyone else does. What about you? I'd love to know what gifts you like to give to a mom in your life? Is it themed because she needs a spa day? Is it an experience because you want to spend time with her? Or is it providing a quiet space because she just needs thirty minutes to not have someone ask her yet another question.
I hope you have a wonderful week!
